Introducing the 2010 Reunion CO-Chairlady - Miss Janelle Jarvis

Miss Janelle Jarvis is the epitome of the Mary Clotea Reunion. The reunion was instilled in her at the young age of six. She's 2 now.
It began for her when she was six years old with her little black "Book Worm" glasses. Janelle was as smart as she could be.

She did not have a choice to become dedicated to the reunion, because the very first formulating meeting was held at her great grandmother's home, Helen Nezart Brown. Her grandmother laid the foundation. Then, her mother, Mrs. Shirley Brown Bradley took up the slack. But, the most important person was her mother, ?Sheanetta Jerrells Jarvis, who was our first Financial Secretary,

Since the age of six, she has only missed one reunion which was held in California.. She grew up respecting Madame Mary Clotea. She graduated as Valedictorian of her high school class. he receive a Mary Clotea scholarship of $500.00 .Her mentor was my father and founder (Phillip) Harold Nezart. He is deceased but it was his wish that as the children reach adulthood that someone would take the reunion and carry it on in perpetuity. Now, for the first time Janelle is the one who closed the circle. She proud to Co-Chair the 2010 reunion. It doesn't stop there, she wants to learn how to handle the Corporation. She said to me,"uncle Harold would want it that way". Janelle is so right. It was his quest to instill in the youngster the importance of family, learn their ancestors, and get an education. A new scholarship name was passed at the 2005 reunion = The Phillip Harold Nezart Scholarship for the Mary Clotea Reunion.
